In an attempt to extend its advertisement business, Microsoft has procured a New York-based company PromoteIQ that fulfills marketing technology to online retailers and brands.
After the acquiring, Microsoft requires time to decide how it would unite Microsoft Advertising’s Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and retail products with PromoteIQ in the subsequent months, ZDNet reported on Monday.
Established in 2012, PromoteIQ was beforehand known as Spotfront. And even though Microsoft has procured the New York-based company for an unrevealed expense, the software giant plans to let it sustain its brand as well.
PromoteIQ’s technology is centered on retailers’ e-commerce and promoting businesses. Kroger, Kohl’s and Overstock.com are some of its clients, the report said.
