The overthrow while the Cricket World Cup to be evaluated in the September

The throw from the long that bounced off Ben Stokes’ bat to the boundary while the Cricket World Cup final will be evaluated in September, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), the managers of the game’s laws, said on Monday.

“The World Cricket Committee presented Law 19.8 concerning overthrows, in the connection of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Final. WCC held that the Law was transparent but the matter will be examined by the Laws sub-committee in September 2019,” the MCC told in a statement.

The former England captain Mike Gatting, Chaired the MCC World Cricket Committee on Sunday gathered at the Lord’s and Monday, but former India captain Sourav Ganguly, who is also a member of the board, leapt the gathering due to personal reasons.
